I called Ask Mini today and since I was tired of the "No scheduled production date" automated message, I held on for an actual person. He said the car had an "Estimated production date of week 31 or 32." That would be the first or second week of AUGUST! He said that cars are often finished ahead of schedule, though.

So it looks like we may need an August build group pretty soon. I ordered my car on 6/25, so people who ordered after that could be in the same boat, depending on their dealer.

There is always the possibility that certain options are slowing it down, too. I have the chrono pak and the red cloth/black leather interior, either of which could be delayed or in short supply.

 

I have an estimated build of week 32, nothing confirmed. I call ask mini way too often.

Note that according to Mini, the Anthracite headlner is option code 4AA, while the Anthracite internal trim is, I believe 41A. If you are a July or August build, and want the rare Anthracite headliner, make sure the 4AA code is on your order as well as the 41A.
