I'm wondering if the Silver Roof was an option for 2005-06 Minis. The Mini Cooper Checkmate came standard with a silver roof but I've seen other Cooper S' with a silver roofs. Was this a standard option or was it special order only?

 

Think it was an option on some color combos 05+ , checkmate , solar red , and Space Blue metallic paint . On the checkmate I believe it was standard. But some people had them painted at the dealership space blue to match.
