For a few months now my passenger door lock has not been functioning properly. It would not lock/unlock via the toggle switch nor the remote, and would not automatically lock when driving. I have been able to open the door using the interior door latch.

Today I changed out the faulty right side door lock actuator, and after installing the new part, the door locks and unlocks via toggle or remote key. However, now the auto-lock feature that used to occur when driving no longer works. Prior to the repair, it had been working on the left (driver) door only. Now it doesn't work at all.

Any ideas why it might have lost the programming?
