What next?

So I just put on new headers took off the cat, everything that I have on my Mini is in my signature. I thought about getting a performance cam next. Is there anything that I Should do next, like injectors, ECU-remap?

You will need injectors with a cam. Then you will absolutely need a tune. Good cams idle higher than stock. Mine idles at 950. Needs the tune to reset the idle, so it will idle and not just stall. As well as setup the ecu for the new parts. I went with RMW, I'm very happy with my results.

More than likely 450cc. If you're going to go with RMW, call Jan and get injectors from him. He prefers to tune in the injectors he sells because he's tested them and knows exactly how they will respond to his tune.

Should I do the injectors and tune and do the cam last?

My preference would be to do it all at once. Install cam and injectors, and get it tuned a day or so later. It will run, but it won't want to idle and you have to be nice to it since everything is different.

One thing I would suggest is to be very very very careful that the cam timing doesn't get messed up. If you're in socal I can get you in touch with someone that's done many many cam installs, he may travel to you as well.

I live in Springfield MO, this place "Import Specialist" installed my pulley, and put a cam in my cousins 88' BMW E30 325is, and my friends 04' MCS. Both of them turned out perfect. But its gonna be a while til' I get the $ saved up for this.

I hear ya. Took me 7 years to finally get a tune. I had a pulley for many years, but got a cam and tune after waiting and saving.

Oh and e30.....drooool. I have an 87 325is that I'm trying to get back on the road.
