what Lug nuts for 2006 Mini cooper if Im putting 18 superlegerra
what size and length lug nuts do I need?
I have a 2006 Mini cooper S(Last 7 of my VIN is TN25987)
I have 18 inch superlegerra + added 4 piston wilwood brake kit and my stock lug nuts are too short
how much longer lug nuts do I need and Ive been getting mixed research on the thread pitch and length for my year mini cooper
can i go with
m12x1.5x45
Thankyou!

According to Outmotoring:
If you have doubts, most hardware stores can confirm the dimensions with the bolt templates. As for the length for your setup, I can't really tell you exactly, but with a stud conversion kit, I'm fairly sure they would be long enough.
In August of 2006 MINI switched to a 14mmx1.25 lug. Older cars use a 12x1.5. We also offer a M14 stud kit (see exterior/wheels+misc section)
Sometime during 2006 they changed the lug bolts so it is very important to know what size you have. I'd follow Da_Ghost's suggestion for confirming thread dimensions. As far as length, how much thicker are the new wheels over stock where the lug bolts go?
Up to 7/2006 MINIs, have a m12x1.5
7/2006+ MINIs m14x1.25
You look to be a 7/2006 from the VIN so you have the m14x1.25 . You will need to install and measure which length lug you need, We dont have m14x1.25 stud kits yet. But we do have the longer wheel bolts.
Are you running spacers with the wheels?
Measure the spacers , gap and add to the stock lug of 14x1.25x27mm 7/2006+
27mm is the length of the stock lug.

Thanks
7/2006+ MINIs m14x1.25

thanks for the help. I also tried to call the dealership and they said I have the 14x1.25
I have the 18 inch OZ superlegerra which im guessing is a 42 offset and just upgraded to a 4 piston wilwood brake kit ..
I might go with the 14x1.25 50mm to be sure
Thanks again!
