Yup, Mine got cancelled. Just called them and they will not ship them for $34.04.

I went around and around with their Sales Maganger and their Ebay Manager. They Have them in stock. Actually 3 more in stock sales verified.

So basically

1. They Fd up the pricing
2. I ordered it
3. Called and confirmed they had them in stock and to change my address
4. They realized they Fd up and cancel the order and lie that they are out of stock
5. I call and talk to them this morning and confime they are in stock and are lying
6. The Ebay manager admits they lied about not being in stock but says they cannot ship them for that cost cause they will lose money
7. I advise in the State of Michigan there si a law which states one must sell the product for the advertised plrice and refund an additional 5% of the error. He says they are not based in Michigan.
8. I gave him one last oportunity to remedy the situation and he does not

I still have a confirmation that all is well and a delivery date of next Tuesday.

I guess I'll just wait for the axe to fall BUT if'n for some strange reason it goes through it will be a sweet deal.

 

They dropped the hammer on me with a phone call in the last half hour. A women tried to tell me they didn't have any in stock as the reason for canceling the order and I told her that was not true as the word was out on the internet on their deceptive practice in this case. She went silent and had no answer but the bottom line in all this is no deal of the century.

 

Well, I got an email and a refund after two days. @#$%

They finally ended the eBay listing too.

Maybe they dropped it from their inventory since they tested it and found that it didn't improve gas mileage and reduce aerodynamics enough to meet their standards. It is JC Whitney after all.

 

Good Ole JC just tried to cancel my purchase. I declined their attempt as they did not refund my payment. And, I also Balked that they have yet again listed it for sale for $34.04... Wonder why they keep reposting it if they won't sell at the advertized price... Now I remember why I NEVER used JC for anything! LOL

I got an email telling me they had these things in stock. That's why I reordered it. Same game. Purchased, confirmation, then email from EBay and then one from JCW. Sounds like it may be time to contact California Attorney General! False advertising rings a bell.

 

I didn't receive an email but I just reordered. I can keep ordering 'til the cows come home and keep leaving bad reviews and feedbacks until I receive the promised product !!

 

It’s pretty silly to keep placing the order again and again.

 

I just got a phone call from JCWhitney saying sorry we are out of stock. Got the email asking me to accept or decline the order cancelation. I declined it and added in the comment section that they were false advertising and that I intended to contact the California Attorney General and that there were others that I knew of receiving the same answer about their orders. Stay tuned.

 

Contacting the California Attorney General for something like this is like yelling into a blackhole. I'd leave my negative feedback and move on. Now if I needed the part I'd just go to Rock Auto.

 

That's true. Wife's a lawyer so she gets really ramped up when she knows they are in the wrong. She heard me when I got a little bent out of shape on the first cancelled order and asked about it. So I figured I would write my feelings in their reason/comment section and see what happens.

Got a forced refund today... At least they pulled their "Buy it Now" $34 posting on the Bay... Oh well, don't need one right now, but woulda been great to have on the shelf for later!
