R50/53 Quarter Panel Repair
Quarter Panel Repair
I suffered a nasty dent in my passenger side front quarter panel. The tiny one that everyone seems to paint black.
Does anyone know how to either:
1) Pull it off
Or
2) Get behind it to pop the dent out.

that looks to be sharp and deep ... I don't think it will be a 'cheap' fix . . . when the metal gets 'stretched' you're not gonna 'pop' the dent out . . . I've done a little body work in my time and IMO the best bet for a DIY on this would be filler - but that makes people gag so I won't mention it again. (I'd cut it out and weld in a patch .... but I have the right toys to do this, and have done it b4 on my 79)
I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking at tho ... can you post a picture rather than the attachment, then the picture will be bigger. Like this

Looks like the front panels, you can get to it from the front wheel well behind the liner. Pic of product on item. That's pretty deep, don't know if that can be popped out.
This is the panel. Side Panel Front - Right ( passenger side ) Part # 41217037438

It will buff right out!!
Not...lol...
Steel is stretched....most shops would change the panel or weld in a patch and repaint...so maybe $1500+...(pure guess. But anytime paint is needed it is always +$1000 ).less if you fill it...then paint it...would likely crack, but look OK for a bit.
