I'm trying to get a time line for 2005 ordering. There seems to be some confusion as to when 2005 production will start. I have seen people who ordered 2004's and have a definite week 28 build date. Does anyone have a confirmed build date on a 2004 in week 29 or 30? What is the latest confirmed build date on a 2004?

 

I have a week 28 and its the 3rd week of 05 build. 05s start on July 1. Accorfing to my dealer. I asked for a 3rd week bulid. Let a few others get thru the line before my Scar.

 

Yep, July 1st is the first MY05 builds, so that would mean June 30th is the absolute last of the MY04's, and buh-bye to the 2-spoke steering wheel

Officially, I have a week 26 build and it's definately a 2004. It's scheduled completion date is 6/21 which means it's production moved up into week 24 or week 25. Been reading that the last of the '04s are getting bits of '05s. Can't wait to see which ones.

hey cool...I have a week 26 build also and they told me yesterday on ask mini that it would be done the end of next week.
