I have a 2003 S-Hatchback. The dealer told me my interior mirror, with automatic dimming, needs to be replaced (for $366). I would probably be happy to replace it with a mirror that has a manual lever. A. Can this be done? B. Is there a link that describes how to do the replacement? C. What do I do with all of the wires that connect to the original mirror?

 

Twist the base of the mirror counterclockwise. It will release from the bracket on the headliner. Disconnect the wiring and just tuck it away when you install the manual mirror.
