R50/53 Do I really need to do inspection #2?
Do I really need to do inspection #2?
About to graduate college and moving back to the nest. Have driven the car probably 1 month in the past 2.5 years, no one else has driven it. 58k on it, 05 S. Inspection 2 (I assume) is nearing. Is it worth getting done?
I am shipping home a civic that I use for my kick around car, but it's starting to have some issues. So I might be back in the saddle of the coop. Trying to save $ as I am trying to go to grad school next.....so wondering if I need to get inspection 2 done right away.
Car has surprisingly been pretty reliable since I've had it (30k) and would like to keep it that way. Am not ever getting rid of this thing

if you have a family mechanic who can do it cheaper/free it would be better dealership will charge good money to do it.
i also forget what inspection #2 entails

Yes....
As of now...
I bet the radiator flush, and the brake fluid flush are both overdue....
Both can be very $$$ to skip as repairs to those items are $$$....like wise the belts may be overdue....continued reliliblity is the result of ON GOING MANTIANCE......
The main purpose of an inspection is to catch little things that are failing...
Things like bushings that will cost you a set of tires due to uneven wear....
Do you need a dealer...heck no....
But an independent shop that knows mini's will be fine....
