R50/53 Rear bumper rattle anyone?
Rear bumper rattle anyone?
Hey Guys,
Right behind the rear wheels on both sides, if I put a little pressure back and forth at the bottom of the rear bumper - I can get noise. It almost feels loose? Right behind each of the passenger wheels...
I didn't see any bolts or screws missing...
I've been trying to track down a rattle and wonder if this could be causing it?
ps - I'm aware of the boot rattle, but don't have any give in the rear hatch with it closed (nor can I duplicate the noise), so I can't imagine that's it...

does this happen at idle or while driving at a certain speed? or just when you press on it?
there are a lot of things it could be.
possibly your heat shield, loose bumper, missing screws, rocks caught in splash guards, loose reverse light housing, loose bumper inserts, loose fender markers, etc.
if possible i would get a helper to replicate the movememt you are making while you stick your head closer to pin point the noise.
