facelift 6 speed getrag question.
If I buy a transmission from a 09/2004 car, will it have the revised gear ratios that I'm after? I'd simply test drive the car, but it doesn't run.

Please advise. Thanks you.

If it was built in September 2004 it was most likely a model year 2005 car, in which event it probably has the revised ratios.

I think LSD's became stock in 05 also or it may have just been an option but I know it wasn't available until 05.

Was an option on 2005....
+1 for if the car it came from is a 2005 model yearyou are good to go...that is the REAL question...

I'm not searching for a factory lsd. I'm searching for shorter gears. 09/04 build date should suffice from my research. I'm just looking for someone else who might have an opinion.
