Can anyone direct me in the direction of a thread that they have done this? I've googled and searched our forum with no luck. My Hids don't always click on sometimes it will click 1 on the first time others it will click on the tenth time. Mini of course says I need new $900 headlights with new igniters. But if a r56 with hids can be fitted rather easy might as well upgrade and get projectors. I've heard its direct bolt on and some people even say direct wiring has anyone done this at all?

 

I think what you mean to say is that you wish to swap out your pre-face lift 02-04 HID headlights to the 05-06 Projector style HID headlights.

It's plug and play, and last I checked the headlights are about the same cost.

 

Yes that is exactly it. Just wondered if anyone had pictures and or a diy guide as well as a good source to buy them. I would happily pay the same amount but get something better that's for sure. But to pay the 900 per to replace a little rediculous to get the same thing
