Im looking to replace it cheaply, I don't rip on my car. Buying OEM **** from the dealer is way to much for me at the moment. I just need to know if anyone knows about this kit at all. Its for an 03 R50

I don't know much about that part but it does look like a Dual mass to single mass in another brand for the Cooper S? Watch what you select on Non MINI part specialized site, as things might not be right.. they have that fitting the Cooper and Cooper S which is wrong.

You have an 2003 R50 , looks like that kit above is for an R53 / R52 Cooper S much like the kit from Valeo.

For an R50 MINI Cooper ( Non S ) which is what you said you have, it has a midland 5 speed transmission: Up to 7/2004 production. I don't see any Canadian specific version on these parts fro the US.

Here is the clutch kits:

For the flywheel , you can resurfaces them once, but I would not resurfaces them multiple times. If you do get it resurfaced go to a place who knows how to do them, and has a huge background with flywheels.

Check the guide tube , they can shows wear and shows some ring wear from the clutch release bearing. It also contain the seal on the back which can seep fluid and into the bell housing.

I would only add that you purchase these parts as well.

The fork rotates inside these plastic sleeve bushings and both will become worn by the time you have to perform clutch services.

#6/7/8/9 Below.

Otherwise you will experience some"sloppy play" and feel after all that work.
