R50/53 Airbag light went on
Threads on NAM seems to point out that the airbag light turning on means the connectors under the seats are loose.
I was moving some stuff in the car this weekend, so it could have caused it. My airbag light went on and it's staying on.
Are the connectors something I can reach and tighten? There were two connectors near the front of the seat, not sure if they are actually the airbag connectors.
Or do I have to take it in to the dealer to reset it?

Once the air bag light is triggered, it will stay on regardless of the reconnection. Some have suggested that disconnecting the battery will reset the light, but no one has yet to report any success. Most likely, you have to make a trip to the dealer.
I took it in last week. Apparently, it was being caused by the airbag connectors in the passenger seat.
Mike at MNS told me the techs said all the connectors were showing very high resistance, which made the on board computer think they were disconnected. They replaced all the connectors and the problem is gone.
On another note, they have my car the "rattle treatment" and got rid of every nagging rattle the car had
