How long for R53 ECU Monitors to complete after clearing code

I replaced my 02 sensor and cleared the engine fault codes, I have to drive around a certain distance and length of time before the monitors read complete. Then I'll be able to get the emissions test completed. I've so far put 241km on the car and driven around for about 5 days now and the monitors still read INC.

Anyone know how long it takes for the monitors to finish gathering data?

thanks,
Alex

my reader says

codes found 0
monitors N/A 5
monitors OK 6
Monitors INC 0

that means it should be ready to go right ?

My suggestion....
Do a couple short trips and a couple long trips..not just the same commute/trip ....vary it a bit so you will meet the computers requirements for a complete check.

I had to do this with our '06 MCS and it only took a couple of days. Typically (I'm thinking of other cars, especially Hondas), it's more about the number of cold starts (completely cold, like overnight or 12+ hours of sitting), and it helps to just start the car and let it idle without moving for several minutes. Then drive at a relatively constant speed (about 45-55 mph) for an extended period of 10-15 minutes. Typically that will allow all the readiness checks to complete. Then stop the car (remember to take the key out) and wait several minutes. Start it up again and let it idle a while, then do another run.

Good luck!
