Anybody get or find a first aid kit that fits in the left (or right) storage area in the boot? Where can I get one?

Chili MC, sunroof, sport, CVT & Nav.

Ya know, rick, thanks for posting this question. Because I consider myself fairly up-to-speed with most things MINI, I had been too ashamed to ask about it. (Yes, even in our wonderful forums here on MCO.)

I did not get any F.A.K. upon delivery and had been curious for some time now why there wasn't one in my storage box. I was beginning to think that the F.A.K. was supposed to come standard and the dealer gypped me....

I will commence my search for an excellent F.A.K. posthaste - but if anyone else here has a good suggestion, you could save us some time.

If you live in the good old USA then you won't ever need a first aid kit.
That is why it is not manditory in our country.
Try moving to an unsafe country like Canada.

If the FAK was small enough to fit in the side compartment, would it be able to contain any meaningful supplies?
I have a yellow boxed FAK, which goes along with the yellow flashlamp (torch) in the hatch of LTL YELO. there's also a toolkit and other odds and sods.

There is an Asterisk next to the first aid kit and the orange triangle. If you look near the front of the manual you will see that stands for possibly country specific features or dealer add-ons. Those only come in other country markets.

Yeah, we don't get either the triangle or the first aid kit. Sad but true.

I am carrying both though. I have a rubbermaid bin in the back of my MINI that I keep strapped in place with the MINI netting (so it doesn't slide around in corners). In that little bin I carry the following:

- First Aid Kit
- Triangle (from Audi). Very sweet folding arraingement.
- Fix-a-flat (I no longer user run-flats)
- jumper cables
- flash light
- window cleaner
- quick detailer
- a couple of rags to use with the window cleaner and the detailer.
- a 12V / 120V power converter

And yes, that all does fit in the rubbermaid bin. It's nice to have all in one spot like that, because it makes it easy to remove if I need the space, but also easy to get back into the car).

I have a U.S. spec Cooper, but I picked it up in Germany where I am stationed. I have both the warning triangle and the first aid kit, it's required here. The first aid kit contains mostly bandages, tape, rubber gloves, safety pins, and chaulk...I hope thats for marking skid marks and not outlining ...er, nevermind!

The warning triangle appears to be a standard aftermarket item. I have seen them in auto stores here. The first aid kit does say mini on it though!

Just got mine yesterday...It's American spec, but I received it in Germany. I got the First Aid kit in the left compartment.

Cheers
