some jerk decided that the valve stem covers on my MCS would be nice to have for their own car and took all four!!! GRRR..... I found a site online, though, that has theft-proof/resistant aluminum valve stem covers for $12.95 w/ shipping. Check out http://www.spin-caps.com They come in a couple of different styles and include a key for installing/removing. pretty cool.Spin Caps

Thee look pretty good. It looks like the wrench is used to tighten up the cap to a point where it can't be loosened by hand. You can achieve the same effect by tightneing your existing caps with a set of pliers (cover the cap with a rag to protect the cap). Also, be sure to keep a set of pliers in your car. This will allow you to use some of the MINI custom valve stem caps.

I have the MINI custom valve caps. I believe they were only $14. They look sharp! It has crossed my mind that someone might try to steal them!!!

They ratchet ... easy-on w/ fingers, but they only spin unless grabbed at base w/ key!

Kids like to steal valve stem caps in my town. Spoiled rich kids, little dorks. They call 'em "chromies", the more expensive the car, the more likely you are to have them stolen. I'm sure its like that all over the country.
