R50/53 It is time to sell!! 2002 MCS $12,500
2002's ARE priced MUCH lower than all other years for a reason....
If I had $21k I would be thinking of buying a new MINI, Si, or even talking down a Focus ST....all with a warranty.
i'm not selling it but if i were, I would sell for about that much. I'm pretty sure I could get a buyer that is looking for a pristine 2005-2006 model MCS r53, JCW package, no sunroof, LSD that is stays in the garage with a car cover with 15k miles on it. Don't mean to jack the op's thread.
Wasn't meant to be rude, my apologies. OP did ask for offers and considering age, condition, apparent use and fair market value, I think it was not an unreasonable offer. Didn't mean to offend the OP or anyone reading the thread.

Mini42. No harm no foul. Your ride is exactly like mine. i don't see many blue with black stripes. Saw 6 mini's today, all clean, so went and washed mine after the snow/ice/rain crap we had Thursday. All clean! Got 3 waves. although it is 22 for a high today! Sad. She didn't want to go this morning and would have rather slept in...Once warmed up, all good to go.

82 here succa . . .

I 'show' my 79 Mini
Been doing it for years and eventually you get to know the car show regulars within your 100 mile radius.
Several guys I know ALWAYS have a for sale sign on their car with an outrageous price.
Why, I've asked . . . "There is a sucker born every minute"
on the other hand
your used car is worth what you find a buyer to pay .... no matter if you find a buyer today, tomorrow, or 5 years from now . . .
*****
my super clean 2007S, BRG, leather, and wood grain is on a dealer lot for $12,000 .... under 55,000 EASY miles. Just a data point. Would you buy a modified 2002 (ride hard and put away wet) or a very softly used 2007 for the same money?

Yu suck! '05 MCS runs fine once she wakes up! roads are clear. this is just the beginning of Nebraska winter. It snows and blows and colder than #$%, but the roads clear up very fast, so I don't have to have a snow plow in front of me to get to work!! Ha! they do that at 4am. We'll see with a huge dump of the white stuffs. Our side street is the last one sadly. I have a most awesome snowblower so I clear out my driveway and a bit of the street..so I can get somewhere.
I would've loved to see laser blue back, but the kite blue is still a pretty color. And the black roof and stripes cuts the intensity a little. I'm thinking about black plasti dipping all the chrome, I believe it will be quite the sight if just blue and black...
From what I've seen in life, you can do anything "good" to any car, it's all relative. I've shut my mouth the moment I saw a late 90's buick lesabre with 5 dudes in it murder, i mean... seriously smoked a tuned Evo 9 like brisket in a Texas cookout at the street races. You can do anything to any vehicle and make it great, but no amount of love or passion is actually calculated and accounted for within the marketplace.
True, the seller could care less about what the buyers say, but when 99.99% of the buyers don't see the value of your product being worth what you're asking for, you seriously have to reconsider your pricing strategy; or be a better salesman.
