M7 Oil Catch Can installed

I am pretty happy with it. I went with the simple, effective, and safer routing of the hoses.

For the mounting of the bracket to the firewall, I used wingnuts for the bolts so I can easily remove the can for draining or to gain room for the oil change if necessary.

I don't know as this is my first ever OCC. From what I've read though, you may need to drain it every 10k miles, or at least check the level at every oil change to see if it's necessary to drain. The sight tube will come in handy for that purpose.

as a note, i think you may want to move the location of that OCC, since that is right above the header, its going to warm up the OCC and nearly absolete the purpose of the OCC. they work best when in a cooler location to have the vapors condense

but it does look all fancy like.... i need/want one as well =)

...that, and you'll have to move/remove the OCC to change the oil filter. It may also interfere with the looks or function if you install a front strut bar.
If you don't have the factory alarm, you can mount the OCC in the empty area at the top left (through the plastic divider) by the fire wall.

I just added the M7 Aerogel heatshield, so that should help keep the OCC temp controlled.
Removing the OCC for an oil change wouldn't be a big deal as I had used wingnuts for the mounting for easy removal.
