R56 seats fit an R53?

Wondering if anyone is certain that 2009 R56 leather sport seats are a direct bolt on to a 2006 R56, or not? Seat rail bolts holes and air bag/heated seat electrical contacts?

Your time is appreciated.

Believe the seats are a straight bolt on but that the heating elements use a plug that isn't compatible with the R53 connector. The airbag is doable but not sure if you have to change the airbag connector - I stopped researching when I found out the heater would require switching out

Simple answer...yes...
There is a few how to guides/threads showing the pretty minor mods needed to the plugs on the underside of the new seats...the connector changed a bit...do it right, no light...do it wrong...you get a light.

Yes. I've done it. Heating elements don't match up and you have to swap all of the old connectors from your old seats. I also had to swap my belt buckle receivers and modify them slightly to work with the new seats. That is unless you want to change the male part to fit into the R56 receivers.
