I just bought a 2002 Mini Cooper S that has had the JCW kit retro fitted on the car, including the engine.
My question that seems to be a Mystery to all Mini cooper owners is this.
I have the Auto Air option on my car, & i need to replace the (Blower Motor Resister)
After spending almost a month now, researching the internet, & buying a Bentley service Manual, finding a DIY guide that even shows one single picture
Of the IHKA blower Motor resistor seated in its proper location on the A/C system. NOW, (There are complete gallery expo's ) of the IHKS resistor which is located in a easily to reach & change out location on the passenger side wheel well. But when it comes to the IHKA blower resistor, this is the Mystery of the Month. I would just like to see one clear parts diagram with the part In its correct location.
Although I would really like a complete DIY Guide giving the proper detailed steps to access and replace the part. I would gladly settle for 1 simple photo of this booger before it is picked. Just to see exactly where it goes on the car. If there is anyone out there that has the information I need I would be very grateful if you can enlighten me on this mystrey.

If yours is a IHKA Auto air a/C system then the final stage resistor, or Blower Motor resistor or 1 of several other names it's called by different people.
It's located in the fan. It is a 1 piece part. You have to replace the blower fan
