I Know that there are other posts about this subject but few offer specific info on what other rim would fit. From what I understand beside the MINI rim others will fit the bill.
I wanted to buy the original Mini space saver tire ever since I ditched my Runflats but I didn't want to pay much for it so asking around the junkyards found a few that were around 80.00 then a 2006 Chevy Cobalt that is supposed to fit our Mini, I'm not 100% sure but I just wanted to share that that yesterday I bought one that came off a 2005 Honda Civic and it fits perfectly, I'll be using this for out of town trips, it fits in the boot with a net around or behind the drivers seat.

Best part was that is almost new and the price $ 15.00 bucks lol.

So 2005 fits
