R50/53 Mini R50 first mods
Ddm?
IMO concentrate on handling and looks....
Power gains are pretty hard to get from a r50. Best $$ for the buck is make sure all yor scheduled mx is done....things like brake fluid flushes and radiator coolant changes are often overlooked....and can cost you big $$$.
Then for a couple first mods....
A CAI is a good start ( you likely need a filter anyway)....
Then bigger rear sway bar for most folks....
Next check you build date on the driver side door sticker...
When doing suspension mods this date is important...
Many early mini's from 2002 are incompatible with all 2003+ gen1 cars due to early changes....
With this info you might be able to decide if new shocks/struts are in the plan...old ones hurt handling and ride.....or go to a coil-over....
