Seat bottom cushions - can they be rotated?

After 127K miles, my driver's seat bottom cushion is sagging. Is it possible to switch the driver's with the passengers? TIA.

Should be doable on a pre-jan 2005 production car...no seat weight sensor.

all cars have a weight sensor, i have a 02 and it will yell at me if i have some one in the pas seat with no belt. its what also triggers the side airbags.

I'm referring to the mat built into post Jan2005+ cars that are equipped with the dual stage airbags....the mat is supposed to "weigh" the pax to determine if it is a child in the pax seat...not just an occupancy sensor....
The mat is ONLY in these later gen1 cars, and ONLY installed on the passenger seat...

Eventually seat pad sensors wear out. E46 bmw......,fixed $300 sensor with $2 resistor.

One resistor turns it off all the time.....the other turns it on all the time. The resistor simulates weight. Only on passenger side.

E46 simulates child.
