New around here, been lurking for a bit, great site!

I am going to be upgrading my brakes in the next few days and after some research i'm going to get the stoptech slotted rotors and some ebc redstuff.

I was doing some price comparisons and found rotors for $330 for all 4 wheels at jscspeed.com

As for the brake pads, over at jcwhitney, they have them for what appears to be $112, thats where my question comes into play. I just need to order two sets? Some websites have it set up for a rear set and a front set, as if they are different parts. But at jcwhitney, they are making it seem like the pads are the same all around the car.

Any other sites to get try and get a better price?

Whitney may sell a whole set, but the front pads differ significantly from the front - they have spring clips that seat in the rear piston.
IMO, lots of good MINI vendors that sell good product at a reasonable price. If you're looking for an upgrade, trust those that know the car rather than a generic catalog.

 

Thanks Eric. Yesterday i did just that and ended up getting them from Mini Mania. 1 set for front and a different for rear. I have ordered a few things from them and customer service is great. Thanks again, cant wait to get everything!
