Need Some Quick Advice
As I was driving through a parking lot clouds of white smoke started billowing out of my hood. The temperature gauge read normal and there was no smell coming from the car. I parked the car and turned it off. It took about five minutes for the smoke to stop pouring out. I had my friend come and pick me up and my car is still parked in the parking lot. Has anyone had anything like this happen before and what could it be?
Thanks.
Thanks.
The only "normal" source of smoke under the hood I can think of is the radiator/coolant lines. Maybe something burst. Was the smoke steamy or more like fire smoke? I'm guessing you didn't see exactly where under the hood the smoke was coming from?
Last night the temp gauge went to high and then immediately went back to normal temp before I could pull over. I also heard something thumping under the hood. So, off to the shop she went. I haven't even had her back for a month after having her in the shop for 39 days getting 2 grand worth of work done. Fab.
