R50/53 spare tire for MCS

I'm with jerseygirl, the spacesaver fits great behind the front seats. It fits nicely and doesn't take up any valuable boot space or other space if you are traveling the seat backs down. Of course it may infringe on passenger comfort if there are any in the back.

I suggested a hatch spare mounting some time ago, but no one was interested.

Lotus inflatable spare

Has any one checked into using a Lotus Elise inflatable spare on the MCS? Bolt pattern is the same, hub on the Lotus is 0.5MM bigger Offset could be an issue.
