i am new here. i have read many threads and articles about power window issue on the mini. mine is 2006 mini cooper s. my driver side window works intermit tingly, i have tried banging above the speaker that worked a couple of times. then two days ago the window will not go up.

i have already removed the door panel, now it is working again!!!! before i remove the window regulator (not the easy) i just want to check if there is something else i can do short of taking it all further apart to fix it. or should i just take it apart to see if this is cause by a worn window regulator. is there a way to check to make sure it is not the motor? thanks
