R50/53 Help! I can't get the driving lights off to install the chro

I have the factory driving lights, but it seems that the main nut is rusted inside and stuck to the threaded post. After using WD40, I tried the wrench again but now the post turns along with the nut, and won't loosen OR tighten.
Any suggestions? I guess I'll be making an appointment with the dealer. I'm glad they were on the car when I bought it- so at least they're covered under warranty.
