Back passenger side squeaking?

A few days ago I heard a squeaking sound coming from the rear passenger side. The faster I go the faster the squeak is. Whenever I apply the brakes the noise stops. So I put new pads on yesterday, and earlier today the squeaking started up again. Any ideas?

I've got the same thing going on on my driver's side rear wheel/suspension. The car's in for an alignment/wheel balance today, so if my mechanic notices anything I'll report back.

Is the squeak associated with wheel rotation or suspension compression? If it's suspension, my next question is if you have an aftermarket swaybar?

I have a squeak, when it first started it was driving me crazy looking for the cause.
Turned out it was somewhere in the seat.

I still have it, every time I hear it I think it's my rear suspension, it's something annoying inside my seat.

The mechanic didn't mention anything related to this, and I was driving around the neighborhood yesterday with the windows down, and going past flat surfaces, I heard a sort of metal-on-metal noise coming from the left rear wheel. I'll have to take the tire off and have a look at it. If I'm lucky, it's the little dust shield bent out of place. If I'm less lucky, it's the brake dragging. If I'm a lot less lucky, it's the wheel bearing. News to come later this week or possibly this weekend, or I might just have the other mechanic have a look at the back wheel when he's evaluating the tensioner/idler pulley to find out which one is making my engine bay noise.
