I would suggest to you that if you were involved in a conflict with another person or entity, you would be loath to have it aired in public..........and no I don't work for BMW or MINI......I just happen to think it unreasonable for you to expect anyone to discuss your specific problems with them in a public forum.

These other intelligent posts are in response to a stupid statement I have made, which I have now removed.

I'll shut up, now.

I posted a question regarding a leaking sunroof drain. They immediately posted and contacted me and my dealer to make sure it was taken care of.

Then called a week later to make sure it was repaired to my satisfaction.

As much as I find their posts irritating, the fact is those posts aren't to me, they're in direct response to the person having the problem. MINI doesn't want to have to deal with the entire board over an issue that one owner is having. That's why they want the owner to contact them directly. As much as I want to know more about what's going on MINI doesn't have to post what they've done in response to a customer and why their doing it. It's considered prevledged information, and they don't have to share it.

I hate it, but I can't fault them for it either.
