Thinking of new car.Pls give me your opinion of real not inflated price for my Mini.I may trade it to a dealer,in which case,I'll take off some of the appearance stuff.2003 MCS sport,cold pkg w/sunroof.17,000 miles.Rogue intake,Quicksilver exhaust(under silencing mats),15% reduction pulley,chipped by Randy,throttle body,and 3 sets of wheels.
Please take a few minutes and give me your opinion of retail and wholesale value.

First, they would not give you additional money for your mods. In fact you will be penalized for it as your warranty has been voided. When I traded in my '02 MCS with mfsw, heated seats,auto ac and 18s, I was offered $16.9k and got it up to $18.9. This car was returned to stock condition except for the wheels and it had 9k on the clock.

Your car has more options than mine, but they will play the modded car is a no-no and hard to sell bit. I'd say they would offer you @$16.9k or less as the pulley will be a concern. Take the hi perf parts off and sell them to other MINIACS to recoup some of your losses.

 

Thanks for the tip,I may only mention the QS exhaust.Only a Mini dealer would notice the exrta performance.It would be way too much work to remove the pulley.
