I am looking to buy a 2003 Cooper S with about 43k miles on it. I am just curious of what kind of problems I should expect or look for. Any help would be great.

Check the service history. If it isn't good, complete and from reputable dealers knock $2k straight off the top. Other than that all the usual stuff that an astute buyer would check (damage etc etc). Good luck - hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours!
