My new MCS landed in NY yesterday on the AIDA. I hope to have it in two weeks. I have already started the aftermarket frenzy, including the Alta CAI. I notice in all the installed pics, rubber stripping at the top of the sheild (to seal to the hood). My Alta did not come with this. Is this the stock stripping from within the OEM airbox?

 

My Alta came with the rubber stripping already installed in the package.

Mine is fairly new, only a couple of months old.

I believe the old kits came with some rubber packed with the system and you had to install it.

If you have nothing I would contact the shop you bought the system from.

No. I checked again - nothing. I got it at Outmotoring - I ams ure they will take care of me.

Don't bet on it unless you're buying something else.. They're good at taking orders but don't expect any other kind of feedback.
