R50/53 Supercharger 15% underdrive pulley and 8.7% underdrive Fluid crankshaft damper
Supercharger 15% underdrive pulley and 8.7% underdrive Fluid crankshaft damper
I'm getting ready to do a 15% WMW Supercharger underdrive Pulley and a PRW 8.7% underdrive Fluid Crankshaft Damper pulley. What I'm wondering is what to expect from my MCS and will it affect the alternator ouput I.E low output at slow speeds like city driving?

It won't give you as much boost as just a 15% pulley and your alternator might struggle at slower engine speeds as well as your A/C. I would personally just get the normal size fluid damper and leave the only reduction pulley to be the supercharger pulley.
Couple issues:
1. The underdrive fluid damper is only for the R50
2. an underdrive pulley would spin the supercharger slower so that wouldn't be good
3. The ATI damper is a much better pulley.

I talked with Way and he told me it was the stock size, I had looked on the PRW site and they said it was a 8.7% underdrive thus the confusion. I should have just asked Way first.
