Just picked up my "S" Friday evening and just let me say to all those who are still waiting--IT'S WORTH IT One thing I did notice though, the brakes give off a lot of dust. It might be because the pads are new? Anyway, I've never been happier with any vehicle I've ever owned. (Sure wish I could have rolled down the windows. I had them tinted and they can't be rolled down for 3 days. Oh well)

Lots of brake pad dust is normal....nothing to worry about. Some folks switch pads eventually...I just clean my wheels (alot). Once I got use to it, it was no big deal. So glad you're enjoying your MINI!!! Happy motoring!

Congrats Roadglide! It's posts like these that keep my MINI dreams alive.....and happy I didn't order another "commidity car" - beamer, etc, that I could have walked off the lot with to my specs, likely!

As long as it's not BRG it will continue to be worth it....if it is BRG, you might as well go right back to the dealership and get them to buy it back so they can ship it the hell to Germany or Slovenia......here's hoping you made the right choice, got yourself a CR or IB one.....enjoy!!! I sure do not enjoy mine...it is SOOOOO slow, poky and ugly....Every day I ask myself why I didn't buy an Imprezza......

Actually, no. You don't.

You could order one to spec and have it in under 2 months, or find one on a lot and have it much sooner.
