The ultimate MINi

What would the grouping of us consider to be the Ulimate upgraded Mini?

What would that list of parts be?

I know we have some examples like the madness mini variety and I am sure others have created highly fabricated beasts as well. I am looking to create a list that gives a DIY- er guidance in approaching shopping as to what has worked and what does not to see if there is a formula to the creation of the ultimate mini.

Also has anyone experience with any race heads if so which ones?

different budgets, different "tastes" and different goals...highly doubt a consensus can be reached on a formula to the creation of the ultimate mini..

Maybe I should have posted as what mods have been done with what measurable performance. I have a MINI I am looking to make a track ***** and want to accomplish things once. Looking to see the way others have gone and what has failed to not repeat history of bad mods.

Any thoughts on what avenue to take would be great!

With the multitude of sites that carry mods on the Internet zero-ing in on what works and in what combo can be challenging.

I am looking to make a track ***** out of mine and was looking for insight as to which avenue to go.

With all the sites that claim performance mods for the MINI it can be hard to narrow down.

Maybe there is already a thread like this if so please bump.

What I don't want to do is start going a route and have it turn out to have a flaw that was known.

Any help is appreciated

What type of track use are you planning with it? If it's to autocross I would suggest you get the rules and regulation for the class you want to run in. That will determine the modifications that you will need to do or allowed to do for that class.

300hp and all wheel drive. I think they've nailed everything else.
