Today I was driving from Charlotte to Atlanta with cruise set at about 75 mph. About halfway through the trip I lightly touched the brake to slow down for the car in front of we. The car slowed as normal about 3 miles an hour and I noticed no weird feel or anything out of the ordinary except the dash waring lights (ABS, Brake and Check engine) flashed and the speedo dipped about 20 mph. It did this consistently for about 40 miles and then "fixed" itself.

Once again, the car functioned normally. It was just the strange readings on the dash.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a wheel speed sensor to me.

 

Sounds like something with the way the speed sensors are talking to the ECU/ABS computer.
