Pics of remote key internals
Just curious if anyone has a photo of the internals of a remote key from an early mini. I recently purchased a 2002, and the buttons on the remote key were worn through, and looking over the circuit board, I feel like there is something missing... Any help would be much appreciated. Trying to save the $200 on a new key

Here is my thread on the subject:
First Generation Key Refurbishment
Plenty of pictures of three different keys I have repaired. If you feel something is missing it is probably one of the actual switches. I have everything in stock needed for a key repair like the ones you see in the above thread. Turnaround time is probably 2 days maximum outside of shipping, and my rates are reasonable. Feel free to ask Ms. Taken or Leon if they are satisfied with my work.
Send a picture or two and I can do a rough estimate of what your key needs from that. It will be much cheaper than a new key. If you only got one key it might be a good idea to get a non-remote key from the dealer ($50-60) so you can still drive if you send me your key for repair. Plus it's just a good idea to have a second key on hand.
