Spent the weekend with 30 homeless students, most between the ages of 5 and 12 along with 12 MINI's, and gave them a very special day at the Petersen Automotive Museum. We treated them to breakfast, and lunch and ice cream, and gave them all kinds of gifts like MINI keychains, food certificates, shower gels, candy, and toys. We escorted the school bus in our MINI's along the freeway giving the kids a wonderful site of MINI's all around them!

Our club, c3, put on the event. Thanks to Lee Ann Schneider, who lead the event and raised the cash from the MINI Vacation in Vegas for the bus ride to the museum, tons of generous donations, and lots of hard work from the c3 club members calling upon companies to help us, spending our weekends planning, and packing the gift bags, we made a huge impact on these kids, who likewise, made a huge impact on us!

We're always looking for MINI enthusiasts who enjoy helping others. That's why our motto is, "Let's Motor for a Worthy Cause".

Drove to Portland, OR and back (300 miles of nice twisty fast roads). Had a great time in beautiful weather. Stopped by Rasmussen and had a headlight replaced because it wasn't working right.

Just an aside...I think Rasmussen MINI kicks some major MINI butt! They've always done a great job on my MINI and Jared, Ann, and the gang are the nicest people around!

Turned heads as usual in my neighborhood running errands in my sparkly clean MINI. Seriously, its one of the shiniest vehicles around for miles! (...as far as I can tell.) Oh, I think I also shocked some highway drivers (yet again) when they witness how quick my MINI gets to 70!

Autocrossed in Deland, FL with the Central Florida SCCA... was a beautiful day, and we got in 10 runs. Came in second, but no complaints as the winner and I swapped places back and forth all day and it came down to the wire, plus we took 1 and 2 on the pax times for the day. Not bad for street tires vs. all the big motor race slick monster cars.

Pulley party! 15% pulley and iridium plugs.

Add that to my magnaflow and pilo intake... one fun mini!

And washed and buffed it today... still can't get the swirls out.

>>I installed a CB in mine!

Funny you mentioned that Greatbear I just dug out my Cobra hand unit and was scopn out where to wire it. Where did you place your antennae? I'm thinking of making a bracket to come out under the bumper so the antennae can be removed when I'm not using it.

Oh yeah...I installed a boost gauge

My great pal with the Miata club has his antenna on a monster magnet that he plucks on his rear deck and pulls off when not in use....I like that idea a lot......and am SLOOOOWLY working towards that......first I have to convince myself I REALLY need a CB.......
