Wire Harness ground?

Reinstalling the motor back in our 03 r53, and I have forgot a few things.

The wire harness that sits on top the trans has a 8 gauge cable with a lug end aimed towards firewall. It is not the B+ black cable. Looks like a ground but not sure? Where does it bolt up to? I know it has to be simple but it is getting the best of me.

Thank You

Mark

Is that the starter down there in the photo? I assume this is a 5 speed and not a CVT?

Bringing up an old thread. I just put a post up regarding this EXACT thing. This is what mine currently looks like. However, if I attach this wire to the starter along with the B+ wire it sparks like hell. Anyone know what this wire is?

Thanks

JP

Reviving the old thread, having the same issue. Where does this cable go? It looks like it is a ground cable.

Actually.... It seems like it goes to the starter. That it is the positive cable that goes to the alternator.

And here is the solenoid terminal for the smaller wire to connect.

Do you know what this bolt is specifically called?
