R50/53 Rotors & Pads For Michigan
Rotors & Pads For Michigan
After a lot of searches on & off of NAM, I still have yet to find a brake kit or set up that other members agree on as high quality & reasonably priced. I'm looking for front & rear rotors (preferably slotted), pads all the way around(low dust) & stainless steel lines. I live in Michigan & my 03 S is my daily driver (60 mile round trip commute m-f) & is never tracked/auto-crossed. Car only has 58k on it and I plan on keeping it for the long run so I would like brakes that won't wear too quickly, but also an improvement over the stock set up. Looking to stay under $500 for parts/shipping if possible. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Also, what should I expect to pay for labor on a job like this? Thank you in advance for any input!

Newzac, thanks for the suggestion. Their stage 1 kit seems almost perfect, & I've had My car in @ DT before. That place is awesome. I was just curious if any other members had any other good or bad experiences with similar set ups. Anyone else out there?
For slotted rotors we've had great luck with the ATE slotted rotors, then some EBC redstuff pads.
It's a pretty easy job, the worse part is for a MI car is to remove the rotor bolts as they can be stuck.
