Auxiliary

Is it possible to get an auxiliary plug installed in a 2002 Mini? I've heard conflicting stories that it is possible and then I've read where they said it's not.

I put one in on my 06...I don't know if anything changed stereo-wise with the facelift but I doubt it.

on a 02 no on a mini from 03+ yes, the head unit on the 02's does not have the programming for AUX that cam in 03. it sucks i know i have the same problem. but im working around it. haven't got to it yet but im going to use the wires for the cd changer to play my music as the "AUX" or go online or junkyard and look for a used head unit that was made after 2003. shouldn't be more than like $50
