Exactly! It really pisses me off when people claim my car isn't as fast as this or that because I only have 223 WHP. Uh, that's a better power to weight ratio than many "faster" cars! Last time I was at the track I had no problem higher HP cars. My weight to BHP ratio is approx 10.4/1. A 2010 Mustang GT is 11.4/1.BHP

a 250 WHP car is going to give a weight to power ratio of 9.2/1 BHP!! That's puts you in SERIOUS company!

Not so hard to imagine. As others have mentioned you dont need a bunch of hp when you have 1000 lbs less weight to push around. Same concept as why motorcycles are so fast. You tube is full of 250hp minis running with some pretty high hp cars. As far as from a dead stop obviously fwd does nothing to help that.

6.2 seconds is one answer.

The site "0 - 60 Mag" has some more data, but ironically NOT a 0-60 time (they do mention something about an 8:23 at the Nurburgring.

Searching this site using Google yields other opinions - and varied. For modded minis, unofficial minis, and track minis there is plenty of evidence.

Cheers,

Charlie
