Oil Pressure Gauge HELP

So I just finished installing my boost and oil pressure gauges using Plasticknives bracket idea.

Everything went incredibly smooth. Bracket worked great, gauges fit (Autometers'), boost reading right at 11lbs during WOT, BUT.....

For some reason, my oil pressure gauge is doing nothing. When I turn the key to the on position, the needle twitches just a tiny bit but nothing else. Start the car and needle never moves. Ilum lights work fine, but no needle movement.

The gauge is hooked up via remote line using a 3/8'' T. Stock oil sensor on one end, 3/8'' rubber line to block on other, and oil sending unit on side outlet. No oil leaks, eveythings tight.

The gauge is an AM electric short sweep. So on the gauge, I have the ground connection running to a grounded bolt under the steering column, ignition connection running to gauge cluster fuse in fuse box, and obviously the sender connection to the sender.

What am I missing here??

Brand new gauge and sending unit. 06 MCS

ALSO, when i turn the key to the one postion (no start) and I touch the ground from the gauge to the grounded bolt, the oil dummy light comes on. Pull the wire away and light cuts off. Can do this over and over.

Well, I thought that too. So I just now pulled the remote line out, hooked the sending unit straight into the block but still same thing.

Fixed!

So apparently the cluster fuse I had tapped isnt a 12v switched. Moved the tap to the lighter plug and viola!

Thanks guys!
