R50/53 Screwed over by Moss Mini?
I ordered the cool little MOSS MINI logo oil dipstick online, because it's being discontinued (gee, I wonder why...LOL...
), and it arrived the next day! I do live in Los Angeles, but still! I was impressed!

I never had problems through several previous orders, BUT, this last order was the straw that broke the camels back.
I ordered a wind deflector. Piece of crap is a generic thing that won't let you open the sunroof, or close it, your choice, when mounted where it should be. I could have bought this garbage at a local NAPA. I would have thought they would have put some thinking into an item in their catalog. Show a little pride in what you sell guys!
They did take it back.
I also ordered a filter cleaning kit.
Because these two items were shipped from 2 different places, (ie, they didn't even stock them, but dropshipped from manufacturer. Always a sign of a well capitalized concern...) they treated it as a 'backorder' situation. IE, they charged me $1 handling charge.
Now, a buck doesn't buy a Starbucks, but the point is that is really sloppy and misleading and just downright cheap on their part. Sort of says 'screw you, customer'.
Thanks Moss, it's been good to know ya!

Wow, Moss has always been AMAZING with me when I've ordered from them. Top notch customer service, very very good IMO.
Honestly, you need to call them. Email is a great way of communication, but they can't be everywhere at once. I'd say call them first. If they don't reply to you still, then come post. If you don't even make an effort to call them, then you don't have much of an arguement
Did you ever make a call, how did it go?

>>Sorry someone made a blunder in shipping.

>>I've heard some negative things about MOSS, but I have ordered from them two or three times, each time online, and everything has arrived in good time.

Yup...I called them..they transferred me about 15 times, then the lady told me that "they already shipped it"..took me a while to convince her that the invoice was correct but the item was NOT sent..then she said "ok, we'll send it to you today"..
and here we are today, me with the wrong part..
