R50/53 Back Up Lights Switch Replacement on R53
Back Up Lights Switch Replacement on R53
Hi Mini Nation-
Sorry if this is a re-posting, but I have no back up lights and have bought the new switch. I'm told this is a fairly common failing on the R 53 so I want to be sure I do it right. I've heard it said that all I need to do is remove the Driver's side (Left) tire to gain access to the switch. My question is, if I remove the switch, will there be a "fluid spill" and also, should I use some sort of sealing compound or thread tape on the switch to prevent fluid loss? Otherwise it would seem to be a straight ahead job. I just want to be sure I have "Reverse Lights" so I don't "freak people out".
Thanks,
Hawk
