i have been searching a lot before i decided to post a thread.. anyway, a year ago i got a used hi-lo beam stalk with the button for the OBC function, since my r53 02' didnt have one (and it stil doesnt ), my r50 had one but OBC wasnt enabled on it.. anyway, my question is, if i put the stalk on, will the obc work? I must say that the car has factory xenon and a/c. I did a recode yesterday, enabling the OBC on my mini at home, using BMW DIS. Do i still have to get the wiring harness or is it for some reason already there, since the rev counter shows the outside temp... for those which suggest, "why dont you try it?", i dont want to try it unless im 1000% sure that i dont need the wiring harness. the weird thing is that somebody told me, that if there wasnt an OBC stalk present, or the wiring harness doesnt exist, the BMW diagnostics wouldnt recognize the module "as installed" in order to enable it. Is this true? Thanks in advance and waiting for a prompt reply to continue the small project!
