So we drove 850 miles down and 850 miles back (Randolph Maine to Parkersburg West Virginia) in my Mini and damn what a fun trip. Long highway's in NY and NY at 85mph and then the mountains/canyons were a freaking blast. 6/8% hill grades with sweeping curves all at highway speeds ... YES PLEASE.

Well either way here are some photo's I took while there of the Mini and even some with my wife. (We were down there celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary.)

Most of these photo's were taken right around Parkersburg ... let me know if you know some of these spots.

 

Sounds as if you spent some time on US 50 West on your way to Parkersburg. I recognized the floodwall and bridge over the Ohio River.
